Fragrant Himmeli
ヒンメリとは麦で作ったモビールで、そのシルエットや光を受けて映し出される陰影が美しい『光のモビール』といわれる工芸品。また、豊作への祈願から『幸運のお守り』とも云われ、太陽の貴重なフィンランドでは古くから装飾品として、親しまれてきました。そのヒンメリに半球形や珊瑚をモチーフとした形の陶製アロマディフューザーを組み合わせ、香りと合わせて楽しむことができる新感覚の『光と香りのモビール』を開発しました。

Himmeli is a traditional mobile made from straw, admired for its beautiful silhouette and the delicate shadows it casts as it catches the light. Often described as a “mobile of light,” it has also been regarded as a talisman of good fortune, originating from prayers for a bountiful harvest. In Finland, where sunlight is precious, Himmeli has long been cherished as a decorative ornament.
By combining this Himmeli with a ceramic aroma diffuser inspired by hemispherical and coral-like forms, we have developed a new kind of “mobile of light and fragrance” that can be enjoyed through both scent and light.
